June Lotto

The lotto draw for a jackpot of €7300 was held on Saturday night last in Roche's Bar, Knocknagoshel. 

The numbers drawn were 4, 12, 20 and 31. 
There was no winner of the jackpot. 

The five lucky dips of €30 each drawn went to 
Laura Parkinson Kilflynn, 
Mary McAuliffe Knocknagoshel Village, 
Noreen Thompson Meenleitrim, 
Con O'Donoghue Tooreenagown 
Michelle O'Connor Meenganaire. 

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €7400 and will be held in Moynihan's Bar Headleysbridge, on Saturday 7th of July. Tickets are available from Kieran's XL, Leahy's Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers. 

Coiste na nÓg Fundraising Quiz

Knocknagoshel Coiste na nÓg will hold their annual fundraising quiz in Roche's Bar on Saturday April 21st at 9p.m. 

All are welcome to take part and their will be a raffle on the night.

Under 8 & Under 10 Training

Training will commence on Sunday mornings for all players under the age of 10 at Knocknnagoshel GAA grounds at 12.30p.m. 

Anyone who missed out on registration can register on the day.

The numbers drawn were 9, 11, 18 and 30. 

There was no winner of the jackpot.

Kellogs Cúl Camps Summer 2018

Knocknagoshel GAA will host the Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps on the week of July 23rd to 27th.

Operation Transformation Lights Up

A reminder that every Monday evening until the 26th February 2018, our clubhouse and pitch will continue to be open and lit up for you, your friends and your family to get together and walk with us, on our guided Operation Transformation Ireland Lights Up 2018 Walk from 7pm-9pm. 

 This event is open to all fitness levels and all age groups so get behind Knocknagoshel GAA Club as we support the nation in this wonderful community initiative to get Ireland moving!

Fixtures and Results;

Knocknagoshel seniors began their season with the visit of near neighbours Duagh to Willie Walsh Park on Sunday last. Duagh were much sharper in the first half and lead handsomely at the half time break. Knocknagoshel improved in their handling of the ball in the second half and will take some positives from the game. The final score was 2-12 to 1-6 in favour of Duagh. Knocknagoshel travel to Asdee next Sunday for their second game in the North Kerry league.


Registration;

Registration for all Underage players will take place on Sunday March 11th at 12.30p.m. in the log cabin. Fees for 2018 are the first child in a family costs €20, the second child costs €15 and subsequent children in a family are free. 


Membership;

Membership of Knocknagoshel GAA club is now open for 2018. Membership remains the same price as last year. An ordinary member pays €30 for membership. Senior players pay €50, college students pay €30 while minor players pay €20. Benefits of membership are players are insured to play, ordinary  members can use the track at the field and ordinary members can seek tickets from the club for Kerry games. It's also a great way to show your support of the club. Membership can be paid to club officers between now and Mid-March. It can also be paid online through the club website www.knocknagoshel.gaa.ie. 


Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection:

Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes,handbags, curtains & towels. 

Schools Football:

The club would like to congratulate John Walsh who played at centre back for CBS Tralee team who beat Ballincollig to qualify for the Munster Final.

Knocknagoshel GAA Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA are holding a clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes,handbags, curtains & towels.
